The Board of Directors of the Human Resource Development Authority of Cyprus (HRDA), at its meeting on 13 July 2026, approved new Thematic Areas for the following HRDA’s Schemes, which will be valid for the years 2027 and 2028:

• Single-Company Training Programmes in Cyprus
• Single-Company Training Programmes in Cyprus (State Aid)
• Single-Company Training Programmes Abroad
• Standard Multi-Company Training Programmes
• High-Priority Multi-Company Training Programmes

The Thematic Areas document provides essential guidelines to Vocational Training Centres (VTCs) and enterprises/organisations in designing and organising appropriate training programmes. They have been developed in consultation with social partners and other stakeholders.

The Thematic Areas are valid for a two-year period and are reviewed in a timely manner to keep VTCs and enterprises/organisations informed about the thematic areas for which they can submit applications for training programmes under each Scheme.
